When I lived in Toronto I found the only source of Vegemite and it took me about 8 months to track it down after all sorts of failed attempts. The location used to be on my old site (which is long dead) but people still email me about it (so it must be cached/linked somewhere) so here is the info again:

When I lived in Toronto (1998/1999) I found that Vegemite could be bought from the Loblaws on Broadview Ave near the corner of Danforth Ave (also the closest Subway stop). They only sold the smallest jars and the staff were no help in locating it but I did find it after carefully scanning each and every shelf (the distinctive yellow and black jars make it a bit easier).

Please if anyone visits this Loblaws let me know (scott@weston.id.au) if they still stock Vegemite. It's been lots of years since I've been to Toronto and I'd hate to have inaccurate info here for others seeking out Vegemite in Toronto.
